FOR SPC EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY GUESTS • DECEMBER 17 & 23

“For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me, I was in prison and you came to Me.” Matthew 25:35 & 36

THE MINISTRY OF SPC’S EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY
Jesus taught His followers to demonstrate their faith in Him by loving their neighbors. Our faith and devotion to Him compels us to happily offer food to anyone in need. It is an expression of our love for them as well. At SPC, we distribute food from our pantry to our neighbors in need each week, on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 1:00 to 2:30 PM and on the second, fourth, and fifth Tuesdays of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.

Sometimes those who need emergency food also have other needs  spiritual, as well as practical. When our guests express these other needs, we pray with them and, as we are able, do what we can to serve them. We also invite our guests to worship with us.

Plus in December, we throw our guests a little Christmas Party to celebrate the birth of our King with them.

HOW YOU CAN YOU PARTICIPATE
Every good Christmas Party has to have two things: good food and small gifts. You can help make our parties a success by providing some of each. (See the lists below.) You can also help us set up, host, and clean up on Tuesday, December 17 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM and Monday, December 23 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
