Jaars Mission Project

Jaars Mission Project

Your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in. Isaiah 58:12

An opportunity to support Jaars by providing necessary repairs and maintenance to Jaars headquarters and campus in support of Bible translation and distribution to hard to reach locations around the world.

ABOUT JAARS
Jaars is a multidisciplinary team of problem-solvers committed to the belief and the vision that people’s lives and communities are transformed as they experience God’s Word in their own language. It is a non-profit that helps organizations around the world get practical, day-to-day support for Bible translation. For many years, Jaars has partnered with Wycliffe Bible Translators, and other translation agencies, to distribute the best resource for knowing God – the Bible written in a language that speaks to their hearts and minds. In their spare time, our team members will meet with missionaries and Jaars staff to learn more about their work and spend time with the Jaars campus youth group.

In the past, our team installed a hole on the Jaars’s Disc Golf Course, improved access to one of Jaars’s lodge basements (by tying a shed roof into the building, creating a roof valley, shingling, guttering, installing aluminum wrap, and sizing and installation of a door), remodeling a play fort at the MK Station (a lot of wood replacement, structural enhancement, etc.), painted the office areas at the Olive Branch (three rooms and a closet), painted and installed electrical service in Rossi House storage building, and did administrative tasks in the Jaars’s office.
