If you have felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit to work on your prayer life, then register for this 7-week Sunday School class on prayer. We will be working our way through The Prayer Course, a book and video series by Peter Grieg, How to Pray: A Simple Guide for Normal People, along with offering other resources to help and encourage prayer. January 1 - March 26 | No book of the Old Testament has had more varied interpretations than the book of Job. Job helps us deal with suffering, but there are other, even deeper, truths that the book reveals. We will explore the history of interpretation of the book of Job, as well as the most popular modern views on the text. We will consider the book in the wider context of biblical wisdom literature and the relationship between Job's suffering and Christian suffering mentioned in the book of Romans. September 11 – November 6 | Do you like Conversations? Do you like people? Did you miss the first opportunity to participate in the Conversational Evangelism class earlier this year? If so, join us! We’ll rethink how we share the Gospel with our family, friends, and acquaintances using the book God Space.
September 4 - December 18 | We will continue our study of Psalms in September by diving into 4 diverse psalms. These psalms will cover hope during despair, our unshakable fortress, repentance and restoration, and our awesome God. Starting on October 9 we will spend the remainder of the year in the wonderful book of Ephesians. This epistle from Paul sets forth profound spiritual truths in a clear, no-nonsense manner, stresses our unity in Christ, and goes on to show how our daily lives are to be shaped by the invisible yet real blessings we have in Christ.
June 12 - August 21 | The Book of the Bible class will be looking at selected Psalms throughout the summer, and for the next several summers. Teachers: Various
