A new week has come, and with it, the opportunity to extend grace. After our customary breakfast time with Doña Rafaela, we headed to the Students International (SI) base for a quiet time in the scriptures, corporate worship, and a devotional. After an intentional time of worship, we headed to our work sites. Today, I’m back with the Sponsorship Team.
I had the opportunity to sit for a long time with Cesar, the program director. We shared life and testimonies, and I listened to his seemingly endless stories of the faithfulness of God.
After lunchtime, I was entrusted with bracelet-making duties! These bracelets are part of a gift for the mothers of the children participating in the SI Sponsorship program. I never thought that making bracelets could be so tiresome… but I loved the opportunity!
We ended our workday with an SPC team debriefing meeting and prepared for tomorrow’s corporate worship, as we have been given the opportunity to lead.
Keep praying for the team, and for God to be exalted in everything.
