-Read verse 51-56. What do the actions of Jesus and the disciples here say about how they understand Christ’s mission?
-How do the words and images of 57-62 challenge the idea conditional commitment to Christ’s mission?
-Read 10:1-2 and check out the surrounding context. What do verses 1-2 really mean?
-What’s the point of Jesus calling for them to pray rather than immediately telling them to go? What does that teach us about the source of our ministry and mission?
