SPC’s Scotland 2026 Mission Team arrived safe today to help Dornoch Free Church host its annual Holiday Bible Club. We’ve been blessed by many greetings, hugs, and much excitement for our arrival. A very special thank you to Mark and Donella Robinson as the Kuester family hosts. Although many of us are jet-lagged and anxious about the coming week, the grace and hospitality that we have received has been an energizing experience.

We’ve been tasked with memorizing Psalm 8 with the students at HBC. While reflecting on verse one and the first part of verse two:

  • There is a distinction that we are praying to God the creator of the universe and the same God that is our Lord who is in personal in relationship with us.
  • We are traveling far across the Earth from Stony Point Church witnessing the majesty of the Lord.
  • God’s glory is above the heavens! That includes above the heavens that we just spent a half a day flying through with the privilege of sharing the gospel.
  • That we have the responsibility and the joy to share the good news to 74 (new record) Scotland children signed up for VBS! Out of their mouths they will glorify His name together with us (Psalm 34:3).
  • May the glory and strength be to God our Father!

We are just settling in and want to send our heartfelt thanks to anyone who help make this project a success (with logistics, financial contributions, and prayer).
