Today was Day One of the second two-day training conference for pastors and their wives. It was such a treat to enter the building this morning to their voices lifted in song. Even though they were singing in another language, I knew they were singing about Jesus.
I lead the group through a devotional on Psalm 136 and then we broke into two groups. Pastors went to one corner of this large room to hear teaching from Micah and Michael and the pastors wives went to the opposite corner to begin our teaching on the Ten Commandments.
Cindy provides the fun for the women by providing games and activities in between each teaching. I love seeing their smiling faces and hearing their laughter most of all!
After the conference was through we ate at our favorite Indian restaurant. We are slowly making our way through the major dishes of South Indian cuisine. I have enjoyed the spicy food. But am ready for a burger.
Please continue to pray for us as we finish our last day of teaching tomorrow and then make the five hour drive to the airport. (Not sure we have talked yet about the driving on the roads in India. Craziness!) I will be sad to leave our mission partners here. What a blessing to spend ten days working alongside them. Their hospitality has been amazing and humbling.
