SIENNA MITCHELL
Today our team hosted a women’s conference at Grace Church. We had a good sized crowd of women, who seemed to appreciate the topics of emotions like loneliness, fear, and envy. We played some games and they all got to color a page with Proverbs 3:5 on it.
We had a little time to rest in the afternoon before splitting up to visit four Iraqi refugee families in their apartments.
After that, we went to the home of some good friends of Jonathan Grooms (our Global Partners in Peace and Development project leader). We had a homemade dinner with them, played an Iraqi game, and had a nice time of fellowship together.
