- What is the hardest of these stories to read here and why?
- What do you do with secrets in your life? Are there well-buried secrets in your life which you need to confess, mourn and repent of, knowing that despite who we are, God is full of grace toward us?
- What happens to our understanding of “the gospel” if we don’t admit our own inherent sinfulness?
- How does the idea of the idol of “my family/people/tribe” resonate with and challenge you? How does knowing Christ’s forgiveness of you shape your treatment of others? Is there anyone you need to forgive, as you meditate on Christ’s forgiveness?
- If you had to sum up the impact of the message of the whole book of Judges on you, what would you say?
- Pray for the things that show you today how broken the world is. Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus that He is and will be the solution for all that we see and more.
