February 22 - April 2 | 40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil, and community outreach. 40 Days for Life takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion in America.
February 1 | An excellent opportunity to learn about the principles of effective lobbying, the specific and current issues Virginia is facing, and what you can do right now to champion pro-life policies to your VA elected representatives. This rally and march are suited for all levels of experience and comfort with advocacy.
May 8 - 15, 2023 / An opportunity to help Christ Our Refuge Church, in Kampapla, Uganda, host a Worship Conference & Workshop focusing on contemporary American and East Africa styles of worship music.
March 5 | An opportunity to give life and health in Jesus’ name by giving blood in support of patients in need throughout greater Richmond. Blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. Donor Requirements: Donors must 1) be in good health and feeling well, 2) be at least 16 years old, and 3) weigh at least 110 pounds.
November | An opportunity to help SPC give Christmas gift bags with essential personal items and home-baked cookies to our Food Pantry friends in December.
July 30 - August 5, 2023 | An opportunity to support JAARS by providing necessary repairs and maintenance to JAARS Headquarters in support of Bible translation and distribution to hard to reach locations around the world.
June 10 - 18, 2023 | An opportunity for SPC students to serve on one of the many ministry sites with Students International in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Ministry Sites include Water Filtration, Pre-School, Special Needs School, Sports, Media, and more.
July 6 - 17, 2023 | An opportunity for SPC's many gifted and experienced people in Children's Ministry to help our partners at Dornoch Free Church evangelize and disciple the children in their community and church.
September 28 - November 6 | An opportunity for you to do something significant to help protect mothers and children through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigils and community outreach with 40 Days For Life.
November & December | An opportunity to help STEP (Strategies To Elevate People) provide the parents and guardians of Gilpin Court (inner-city RVA) an opportunity to give gifts to their own children at Christmas without over-extending themselves.
