1. Based on the king’s actions, how can we define forgiveness?
2. What will our lives look like if we refuse to forgive? (Both individually and as a community)?
3. When have you struggled to forgive? Why is it so difficult?
4. Mark 11:25 and Luke 17:3-4 may seem to be contradictory. How can they be combined as we seek to forgive?
5. How does the disparity between 10,000 talents and 100 denari help us forgive those who have hurt us?
6. How does the cross bring both justice and forgiveness?
7. Forgiveness is often granted before it is felt. Read Colossians 3:12-15 and pray that the peace of Christ will rule in your hearts as you choose to forgive others from the heart.
