By God’s grace, our team completed its mission strong and headed home Friday afternoon. We arrived home late Saturday. Here’s our closing prayer:

Heavenly Father,

All glory to Your name! We praise You for all You have done, seen and unseen. We thank You for our brothers and sisters in India and the Kingdom work being done. We thank You for allowing us to participate in what You are doing there. We thank You for safe passage to and from India, and all the places in between. We thank You for the generosity and hospitality of Your people.

Father, we ask that You would bless Global Partners in Peace and Development, as well as all those who gave financially, partnered in prayer, and the pastors’ and their churches.

Lord, we pray a blessing over the communities that received a

water well. May they not only be satisfied by the water that temporarily quenches the thirst of the body, but may their thirst only be quenched by Living Water. May they drink deeply from Your well. May they be reminded of Your faithfulness every time they retrieve water from the wells that have been provided.

Lord, we lift up to you every widow that we had the opportunity to minister to, may they be comforted by You and remember that their identity and value are found in You. We lift up the children we got to spend time with. May they continue to grow in You and Your Word. We pray a blessing over each of their homes. We ask that you would draw their families to You, that they would come to know You, and would be lights within their communities.

Father, we lift up every pastor and wife that attended the conference. We thank You for the ministries that You’ve entrusted to them. We thank You for the opportunity to teach Your Word. May the Word that has gone out be fruitful, not only in their lives, but in their churches and communities. Give the pastors deeper revelation of You as they continue to study Galatians and Nehemiah. May they have a deeper understanding and practice of servant leadership as they lead Your people. May their wives continue to grow in their understanding of Your love through Your law. May they be encouraged by the teachings they received and time spent in community. Father, strengthen their marriages of every couple that attended and help them to have a better understanding of You and Your love in how they treat one another. Give them the grace to continue ministering to the communities You’ve appointed to them. May they continue to grow in the knowledge of You and Your Word.

Thank you, Father, for Your love and care for every person and for every detail. May Your love and word continue to go forth and change lives and communities in India. We thank You for all You have done, all that You’re doing now, and all You will continue to do. In Jesus name, Amen.
