Grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ
One of the best ways to grow as followers of Jesus Christ is to be in meaningful relationships with one another. That’s why we encourage everyone who calls SPC their church home to connect with others outside of Sunday morning worship. Take a look at our ministries below to learn more about ways to connect and grow with us.
SPC Community Groups are one of the best ways to connect and grow outside of Sunday morning worship. Our Community Groups meet in groups of about six to twelve people at various times in homes and other venues all over town. Supporting our teens through their middle and high school years is one of SPC’s top priorities. Zac Collins and several teams of committed adults devote themselves to establishing trusting relationships with our students, commending faith in Christ to them and modeling trust in Jesus. For more information about Youth Ministry at Stony Point Church, contact Zac Collins.
Helping our children begin the race well by laying a firm foundation for faith in Jesus is one of SPC’s top priorities. We do everything we can to create a safe and secure environment, build relational trust, and teach eternal truth. Jennie Ray, Zac Collins, and many teams of committed adults and teens devote themselves to caring for and encouraging faith in Christ to our kids. For more information about Children’s Ministry at Stony Point Church, contact Jennie Ray today.
SPC’s Women’s Ministry seeks to provide women with opportunities to grow their faith as well as their relationships with other sisters in Christ. Resources for studying God’s word are provided year round as well as opportunities to fellowship and be in community with women. For more information about Women’s Ministry at Stony Point Church, contact Dawn James.
Men’s Ministry at SPC seeks to support the greater mission of Stony Point Church by helping its men to grow in their understanding of God’s word, their embrace of the gospel, their care for each other and the exercise of their unique gifts for the benefit of others. For more information about Men’s Ministry at Stony Point Church, contact Curt Kenney.
Lay Counseling is one-on-one counseling in a non-clinical environment. Volunteer leaders are trained in the principles of counseling to offer loving care and promote Christian maturity through developing a deeper relationship with God. Support groups provide a warm, caring and confidential environment where heart issues can be shared and explored and biblical concepts provide the foundation for healing. For more information, contact Curt Kenney.
