JEANNIE TABB: Wow! We have finished the English club in Ostroh! There were classes from 6:00-9:00 Monday through Friday. Personal meetings with students in the afternoons where we met for coffee and shared our Life Maps - highlights from our lives and how God is working.
Aleksei Лаврухин (Aleksei (Alex) Lavrukhin): Today was the last day of English Club. The team was ready for a well-deserved break, but nevertheless finished strong.
CHANIN GILMAN: God is working in Ostroh, Ukraine! And we have been blessed to participate in small ways with the young adults here.
JEANNIE TABB: Thank you for praying! God is answering all our prayers one by one!
Melinda Batalias: Today was a busy day in Ostroh, Ukraine. The day began at 9 with a breakfast that includes local favorite foods, such as: potato pancakes, wheat bread and butter, buckwheat, raw vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers), cabbage salad, and scrambled eggs. After breakfast, about twelve student volunteers and Cru staff joined our team and listened as I shared my testimony of how Christ met me in my pain and walked me through my healing.
CINDY BRYANT: Pryvit! (“Hi!” in Ukrainian) We have completed our first day of English Club in Ostroh, Ukraine. Dyakuyu (thank you) for your faithful prayers. God blessed us in so many ways!
MICHAEL BRYANT: We are all alive and well, after our first day of work and witness in Ukraine. We worshipped with many of the Ostroh all-volunteer Cru staff in their home church this morning. And this evening we met with about 25 Cru staff and student volunteers to get to know one another and prep for English Clubs (which start tomorrow).
MICHAEL BRYANT: We left Dulles on time last night and arrived in Copenhagen this morning. One more short flight to Warsaw to join Jeannie Tabb later today. Tomorrow we drive from Warsaw to Ostroh.
MICHAEL BRYANT: On Thursday afternoon at about 2, SPC's Ukraine 2026 Mission Team will pull out of the parking lot and head towards Ostroh, Ukraine to help Cru staff there host an evangelistic English Club for university students.
