SIENNA MITCHELL: Today our team hosted a women's conference at Grace Church. We had a good sized crowd of women, who seemed to appreciate the topics of emotions like loneliness, fear, and envy. We played some games and they all got to color a page with Proverbs 3:5 on it.
ROSEBUD HOWREN: Hello to all of our sweet Church Family back in RVA in the US. And greetings to you from your Jordan Team and all of our brothers and sisters in Christ here in Amman. We are surely seeing the hand of the Lord everywhere we visit here.
YVONNA FRAZER: This morning, our team was warmly welcomed by the Nazarene Church in Al-Ashrafieh where we were blessed by spirit-filled singing and preaching.
Melanie Jones: Our first full day here in Jordan started a breakfast of traditional foods -- hummus, fresh falafel, fresh pita bread, and yogurt with honey and jam.
Michael Bryant: Our team arrived in Amman today. We have met Pastor Wasim and moved into our apartments at Grace Church.
Michael Bryant: On Thursday, May 7, SPC's Jordan 2026 Mission Team will fly from Dulles to Amman to ministry to refugees with Grace Church and Global Partners in Peace and Development. Our team is Melanie Jones, Yvonna Frazer, Rosebud Howren, Cindy Bryant, and Michael Bryant. Sally K, already working in Jordan, will join us for several aspects of our project.
Misty Tafao: Father, You are worthy of all honor and praise. We thank You for safe passage to and from Ukraine. We thank You for appointing us to bring the message of Your love to the students of Ostroh.
JEANNIE TABB: Wow! We have finished the English club in Ostroh! There were classes from 6:00-9:00 Monday through Friday. Personal meetings with students in the afternoons where we met for coffee and shared our Life Maps - highlights from our lives and how God is working.
Aleksei Лаврухин (Aleksei (Alex) Lavrukhin): Today was the last day of English Club. The team was ready for a well-deserved break, but nevertheless finished strong.
CHANIN GILMAN: God is working in Ostroh, Ukraine! And we have been blessed to participate in small ways with the young adults here.
